Land Conservation

Right now, the Horn Pond Association is battling to secure a large part of uninhabited land on the New Hampshire side of the Lake. This land is owned by an individual seeking to sell the land for profit. This may mean selling the land to developers who would tear down acres of beautiful untouched forest for several homes. While we always welcome new residents on our lake with open arms, this project would destroy the forest ecosystem and put severe stress on the lake ecosystem, as it has already reached its carrying capacity. To help us prevent this from coming to pass, consider donating to our cause. To learn more about reservation societies that are helping protect this land, click below!
